Tronica City Extension UER-II will ease traffic, boost connectivity, and make Tronica City a top industrial and residential hub.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has started preparatory work to extend the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) towards Tronica City under the Decongest Delhi Plan. This new stretch will connect Alipur in North Delhi directly to Tronica City, linking it with the Delhi–Saharanpur–Dehradun Expressway (NH-709B).
This project is one of Delhi’s major infrastructure moves to reduce traffic pressure on inner roads and improve regional connectivity.
Tronica City is emerging as a fast-growing industrial and residential hub near Delhi. The area’s location near Loni, Khajuri Khas, and Shiv Vihar makes it a perfect spot for future expansion and investment.
With the UER-II extension, Tronica City will soon be directly connected to North and West Delhi, making travel faster and smoother for residents, industries, and transporters. This development will help reduce congestion on routes like Wazirabad Road and Outer Ring Road.
The UER-II Extension Route will begin from Alipur (North Delhi) and extend approximately 17 km to Tronica City, crossing several key localities.
Planned Route Path:
Starting Point: Alipur (existing UER-II end point)
Passes Through: Bakoli → Hiranki → Khampur → Loni Border
End Point: Tronica City (NH-709B / Delhi–Saharanpur–Dehradun Expressway link)
This route will act as an outer bypass for vehicles travelling between Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, helping them avoid congested city roads.
Once the Tronica City route becomes operational, areas like Loni, Khajuri Khas, Shiv Vihar, and Bhopura will benefit from smoother traffic flow. Currently, these regions face heavy congestion due to mixed local and freight movement. The UER-II extension will divert long-distance trucks and commercial vehicles outside residential zones.
It will also lower pollution levels, improve safety, and make daily commuting in North-East Delhi much easier.
The Tronica City UER-II extension is expected to attract investors, builders, and industries due to improved highway access. Better connectivity to Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Dehradun will make Tronica City a top destination for new housing and warehousing projects. With faster routes and less congestion, property values in Tronica City and nearby Loni and Shiv Vihar are likely to rise significantly.
The UER-II Extension Project under the Decongest Delhi Plan is a major infrastructure step that will transform the northern region of Delhi-NCR.By connecting Alipur to Tronica City, the road will not only decongest Delhi’s internal roads but also open new opportunities for trade, housing, and industrial growth in Tronica City and the surrounding areas.
The Tronica City Extension UER-II project will decongest inner Delhi roads, improve regional connectivity, and open new opportunities for trade, housing, and industrial growth in Tronica City and surrounding areas.
